     This program, for the C-64 and the 1541 disk drive, gives you a simple
  way to add documentation to a BASIC program.  Run this program to write a
  two-block disk file.  Then concatenate your BASIC program, the two-blocker,
  and the doc file in PETASCII format.  The BASIC program displays the docs
  with sys n, where n = peek(45)+256*peek(46) BEFORE you added to the program.
  The docs will be seen in a paged display (character set 2), unless a
  powered-up printer (device 4) is connected.  Then the text is sent to both
  screen and printer.

  linefeeds exist in the file. NOTE: This program considers a "line" to end
  with a Carriage Return (ASCII value 13). A "non-CR" file won't crash the
  program, but you'll get some rather odd results!   ;)

  read bad sectors.  Don't try to run the program; just loading it does the

  directory everytime you run it.

  be useful for articles downloaded from USENET.  Such files end each line
  with a linefeed (<LF> = CHR$(10) = control-J), instead of a carriage return
  (<CR> = CHR$(13) = control-M).  That keeps the C-64 from displaying the text
  properly. This program lets you convert LF's to CR's, or CR's to LF's.  You
  may also convert ASCII to PETASCII, or PETASCII to ASCII.  You need not have
  any free blocks on your disk.  A 664 block file can be processed.

  messages containing encoded binary data, if the "MIME" ("base64") encoding
  method was used.  That method is similar to UUencoding, but without error
  checking.  You should see many lines of text gibberish, all lines of equal
  length.  And shortly before the data start, you should see "base64".  Save
  the message to a disk file (either PRG or SEQ), without ASCII to PETASCII
  translation.

  drives. One note of CAUTION: Please do not use this UUcoder, or any other
  UUcoder  with files which have been received (or transferred) with
  Dialogue128,  which incorrectly (and fatally) translates two characters.

  imitates a DOS "Validate", chaining through every active file on the
  directory until it finds the one occupying Trk-1 Sct-0... and then it tells
  YOU! Notes: Can't scan REL files; only works on Device 8, Drive 0;

  following.   Use "FILUTI.BIN" (in library 1 of CBMART) to convert to ASCII,
  and select "one linefeed after each carriage return".  Then, use this
  program on the file and transfer it to your MS-DOS machine.  Make sure that
  your C-64 terminal program has PETASCII-to-ASCII translation disabled.

  file "SWAP".  Then each time that you LOAD"SWAP",N,1 (where N is the device
  number), the two device numbers are swapped.  If you selected 8 and
  9, device 8 becomes device 9 and device 9 becomes device 8.  Do NOT RUN
  "SWAP"; just LOADing it does the job.  And any BASIC program in memory is
  preserved.

  From V4.84 and up, Call Exrom will work with the ROM chip called KeyDos.
  This didn't work before due to the inferior method used by KD to sense in
  which memory bank it is located.  Not a TS bug, but a workaround has been
  employed which will ensure compatibility. However, the SYS address provided
  by KD at power-up to invoke it will not work.  This is not a big problem,
  because you can use Call Exrom while holding down ALT, and KD will install
  gracefully.
